Professional Career
Hi and Welcome: My name’s Gabriel Krechmer and ever since I was a wee lad I’ve had a passion for bringing people and technology together. In middle and high school I was on the A/V club (yes, I’m an admitted nerd). I built my first webpage in college in 1995, then added a ‘friends’ page where I listed all my friends and pictures (sound familiar?).

California Supreme Court, San Francisco
After college, I was a webdesigner in the Boston Area, my clients included Dunkin’ Donuts, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Staples. I moved to San Francisco and took a gig as webmaster of the California Court’s Education Division, Creating eLearning courses and an online media libraries, training people on web software, and running statewide presentations.
Moving back to Boston, I took a job at Magic Hour Communications as a Web project manager, overseeing the creation of websites primarily for schools. I also provided training for the proprietary web software, online and on location.
At this point in my Career, I have over 8 years of experience in the web world.
Passions and Pleasures

My Burningman Camp, 2002
In between all this, I was able to do some traveling and some adventure seeking. A few weeks in Israel, 2 months spent backpacking through Northern California through the Sierra Institute, several trips to Burningman and some time spent at the Esalen Institute.
My time in the San Francisco Bay Area also opened my mind to the study of quantum physics and the like. I have a strong affinity for the movie What the Bleep do we Know?! and have spent some time exploring the science around it. The more I see the more many things seem plausible, but I digress.
Other things I dig on:

Sierra Institute, 2001
Nature/Hiking
Something about being in nature makes me feel whole
Yoga
Keeps me level headed and happy, Anusara Yoga is my favorite type
Meditation
I find detaching myself from thoughts is a useful tool to have
Neurolinguistic Programming
NLP gives a good framework for understanding how the brain works; a great user’s manual
Jungian Psychology
Understanding the mind and it’s relationship to spirituality adds a depth to reality that I appreciate.
Consciousness/Metaphysics

while I only have a basic understanding of quantum physics principles, it’s opened up the doorway to exploring things like Out-of-Body experiences and Astral Projection.
I find this all fascinating: the potential is huge.
